More farmers are needed in Labasa to assist the sugar industry.
These are the words of Labasa Chamber of Commerce vice president Satish Kumar who said that business has picked up ever since crushing started at the Labasa sugar mill.
Kumar said farmers have left Labasa and moved to other parts of the country and he believes that some incentives given to the farmers will help them stay in Labasa and do sugarcane farming.
