The Sugar Industry Tribunal has announced the expected dates of termination of crushing at Lautoka, Rarawai and Labasa sugar mills.
The Fiji Sugar Corporation has advised the acting Sugar Tribunal Anu Patel on this issue as required under the Master Award.
The sugar tribunal has advised that Labasa Mill will stop crushing on 5th December, Lautoka on 8th January and Rarawai mill on 22nd January next year.
The tribunal will continue to monitor the harvesting and crushing progress at each mill before finalizing the date for crushing to terminate at each mill.
