These are the sentiments of newly appointment Vice Chancellor of the University of the South Pacific, Professor Rajesh Chandra, who assured people today that the money given to the university will be used efficiently for the school's needs since it is the central tertiary education provider in the South Pacific region.
Chandra has also revealed a substantive cut in salaries for senior management and him.
His third day in office, Professor Chandra foresees a bright future for USP without deficit budgets and which is regarded by the Pacific region as an institution of great value, agility and productivity.
