A special Police task force is now investigating a case whereby a substantial amount of money has been reported missing from the Kings Wharf, in Suva last night.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed the robbery saying that the money was for the Reserve Bank of Fiji and the container containing the cash arrived into the country on Friday evening.
Inspector Sokouri said they are still trying to finalize some other details.
He has called on people to inform their nearest police station immediately if they have any information on the robbery.
