While cheering is a huge part of the Coca Cola Games, officials will be out to try and stop students from stomping in the grandstand.

Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Coca Cola Games Vuli Waqa said this is something that they constantly remind students at every meet, as it is not safe.

Waqa adds with more than 3000 students expected to be sitted in the grandstand, it will be impossible to monitor each and everyone of them so they will just have to keep reminding them on the day not to jump up and down in the stadium.

He also said while they understand the Public Emergency Regulation is in place which prohibits large gatherings, preparations continue and they will seek approval to hold the Games if the need arises.

The Coca Cola games will be held on the 1st and 2nd of May.
