Students of nine villages located around the Nasali landing in Lomanikoro Rewa will be benefitting from a new school building that will open this Friday.
School Teacher of Rewa District School, Simione Sela said the building with four classrooms worth $140,000 was funded by the government after they applied for assistance.
Sela said they were facing a lot of problems with the old building as it was unsafe for students and a new building was desperately needed.
Sela said they had been asking the previous governments for assistance for the past 20 years but to no avail until the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama intervened.
