It’s been over a month now since the closure of some training centres in the Western Division and 18 students are still waiting for a answers.

The training centres which were located in Ba, Lautoka and Sigatoka closed over a month ago without any prior notice and students found out about the closure the day they were to resume their classes or hand in their assessments.

The institute closed its doors in first week of February.

A student Ranjita Mani told Fijivillage that she had paid $1380 for her fees from FNPF and was two weeks away from getting a certificate when she came to know about the closure of the institute.

She added that she has lost hope of getting a better job, the sole reason for which she had joined the training centres.
