Today is D-Day for 15,209 students in form 4 from around 162 centres who will be sitting the Fiji Junior Certificate examination.

Minister of Education, Filipe Bole has conveyed his well wishes as this will be the last time the FJC will appear as a national examination for Fiji.

The first paper is Basic Science and it starts at 9am followed by Mathematics and Commercial Studies, tomorrow and on Thursday is English alone.

The students will take a Diwali break before they resume next Tuesday.

Bole is reminding all parents and guardians to provide all the support these students need including their stationery, food and transportation arrangements which need to be in order.

Earlier in the year, a number of schools had promised the Minister that they will score 100 percent pass in this exam.

Meanwhile Ministry hopes that all FJC candidates will adopt a similar determined-attitude to pass with quality marks and safely secure a place in Form five next year.
