Four students who allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old student at his Tacirua home on Tuesday night have been released on bail by the Nasinu Magistrates Court this afternoon.
The four include a 15-year-old, two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old who are charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.
Their charges were not read in court.
The prosecution had objected to bail, however, the court granted them $1,000 bail with surety after the students informed the court that they want to seek legal aid assistance.
The court also considered the fact that two students will be sitting for their final exams.
The case has been adjourned to the 15th of this month.
