A class two student has been admitted in Lautoka Hospital while a class one student has been treated and sent home after they got burnt in a truck fire over the weekend in Ra.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the incident happened after the truck which was carrying passengers caught fire.
According to Sokomuri, the truck was loaded with 15 kerosene drums and other flammable liquids and passengers at the back of the truck were also consuming alcohol.
Sokomuri has urged the general public to be extra responsible while dealing with flammable liquids.
Passengers of the truck have been questioned and released by police.
