In an effort to keep the environment clean students from Suva Christian Community High School spent the first half of their Saturday picking up rubbish along the Nasese sea front.
Form 7 student Salote Tamata said 62 students and teachers came together and through their program Green Teens, they set aside their Saturday and decided their time would be better spent helping clean their environment.
Tamata said it's everyone's responsibility to look after their environment.
