The body of a student who allegedly fell into a river in Labasa has been discovered.
Police confirmed that the body was discovered in the last hour 40 meters from where he fell at Volovi.
The body is now at the Labasa hospital.
Meanwhile, Fijivillage has been reliably informed that a vehicle driven by the student was involved in an accident earlier.
It is alleged that the student was driving the vehicle while talking on a mobile phone when it veered off the road and landed in a drain.
Two passengers traveling with him managed to escape however at Volovi Bridge the student fell into the river.
