Students participating in this year’s FM 96 Tadra Kahani with TFL and Fijivillage gathered at International Secondary School for the Tadra Kahani Poster Competition Workshop yesterday.
Art Teacher Kate Reiman said the workshop was a good opportunity for the students to work together and develop their ideas into posters, as the best poster will be chosen to advertise this year’s Tadra Kahani.
Meanwhile, Saint Agnes Primary's class six student Apete Codrokadroka said he felt lucky to be the only primary student among the participants and it was a good experience that he will take back to his school.
He said participating at this year’s Tadra Kahani as first timers is a challenge for him and his classmates but he is positive they will do the school proud.
Tadra Kahani will be held on the 18th and 19th of next month with 10 schools participating in the Junior Division while 14 schools will be taking part in the Senior division.
The Junior Division finals will be held on 18th August while the senior divisions will be on the 19th.
