It is always hard to get people to change their outlook on prisoners but the children of Tilak High School are confident they can do so with their 5 minute short movie called "A Second Chance."
Movie coordinator and Form 4 teacher Charlene Pillay said the idea came up after students noticed the public awareness campaign by the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Services and decided that this was their way of assisting in public awareness.
Tilak High School is part of 18 schools taking part in the TFL Kula Film Awards.
This year, 18 schools are taking part compared to 10 last year with the winner expected to be known early next month.
