It has been confirmed that secondary school students above the age of 18 will not be asked to fill forms regarding their views on the draft People's Charter as earlier speculated.
As various teams of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) will start negotiations with school heads this week to work on a suitable time for the charter consultation process to start in schools, students have been reminded to ask questions if they feel unclear on any item in the charter.
Charter Consultation team's Information Officer Rudra Maharaj said NCBBF teams are only assigned to relay what's in the charter and not to force students to accept it.
Maharaj had earlier stated that they will give priority to exams and will not interfere with the school curriculum when the charter consultation process begins in schools.
