Students who are over 18 will also be given the response forms by the NCBBF consultation team, so that they can give their views on whether they accept or reject the Draft People's Charter.

NCBBF PR team spokesperson Rudra Maharaj said the same procedure will be followed by the teams who will be sent out to the schools to carry out consultations on the Charter whereby people are given the response forms.

Maharaj said no one will be forced to sign the forms and it's up to individual students to decide whether they want to sign the form or not.

Meanwhile, Public Service Commission Chairman Rishi Ram said secondary school teachers should assist the People's Charter consultation team on the awareness campaign, as it is a government policy which has to be followed.
