Over 16,000 students around the country will sit for their Fiji Eighth year examinations tomorrow and on Thursday.

The candidates will be sitting for five to six subjects in 674 centres around the country and according to the Ministry of Education the number of students sitting for the exam is 73 candidates less than those enrolled for the exam last year.

Interim Minister for Education, Filipe Bole said that the two day examination is a crucial one as this is the last external exam they sit for while in Primary school.
