Hundreds of students from Ratu Kadavulevu school and other schools and villagers between Natovi and Verata lined up the Kings Highway to farewell well known Viti FM breakfast show co-host, Momo, Akuila Verebasaga whose body is being brought to Suva this morning.
Momo passed away peacefully at the Levuka Hospital last week at the age of 61 after a short illness.
He will be laid to rest this Friday.
Momo as he was known, was famous for his entertaining laugh on the VITI FM breakfast show with host Maikeli Radua and Mr Bean and he won the hearts of thousands of listeners around the country and became a household name in Fiji.
