Interim Education Minister Netani Sukanaivalu has stressed that from now onwards students will not be sent home for non-payment of school fees.
Sukanaivalu said the education of students is a top priority for the Interim Government.
He added that a directive has been already issued to all school head-teachers and principals that the students who have not paid their school fees are not to be sent home.
Sukanaivalu has also asked all parents to save money for their children’s school fees as the next term of school starts tomorrow.
He added that parents should keep their children’s education as top priority.
