Police have questioned and released a Form 3 student of Navua who allegedly raped a Form 4 student last week.

Assistant police spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita said any charges to be laid will be determined after investigations are complete.
 
The alleged incident took place last week when the victim and the suspect were returning home after school.

It is alleged that the Form 3 student dragged the girl into some bushes and raped her.

Meanwhile, Lautoka police are looking for a man who is alleged to have raped a 20 year old tertiary student yesterday.

According to Corporal Tevita, the incident took place when the victim was returning home after a drinking party.

It is alleged the man confronted her and dragged her to nearby bush, where the alleged rape took place.

The girl sustained injuries during the attack.
