A 12 year old student is admitted at the CWM hospital after she was hit by a bus in Toorak yesterday afternoon.
The girl was on her way home when the accident took place.
Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said the driver was allegedly speeding and was unable to control the bus which went onto a footpath and hit the girl.
According to police the girl was walking on the footpath at the time of the accident.
The bus driver has been interviewed and released.
