A 17 year old student of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School died after he was hit by a delivery truck at Grantham road after school yesterday afternoon.
Police believe that the student was playing on the road with another friend when the accident happened.
Police Assistant PRO Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that the driver has been questioned and released pending investigations.
Police have advised drivers to be more vigilant on the road especially in the afternoon when school children converge with their friends and schoolmates.
Children have also been advised to observe the road rules.
