8-year-old Karan Prasad of Waila Nausori who was burnt while using firecrackers on Diwali night passed away at the CWM Hospital last night.
He was admitted in the ICU last Tuesday after receiving 60% burns.
Family members say the class three student passed away at about 11.25 last night.
Funeral arrangements are underway.
