A 19 year old student of Nasilivata Road, Nadera, is admitted in serious condition at the CWM hospital after he was struck with a pinch bar by three masked men yesterday.
Assistant spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita has confirmed the student was inside his home when three men armed with cane knives and pinch bars entered in the house and threatened him before striking him on the head with the pinch bar.
He sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where he is still admitted.
The three then ransacked the house and stole cash and other items amounting to thousands of dollars.
Police are calling on members of the public for information.
