Labasa Police are investigating an incident whereby a student is alleging that she was assaulted by her teacher.
According to Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri the student was vomiting blood and when she was taken to the hospital, she informed the doctor that her teacher beat her up with a 1meter ruler.
The student had to be airlifted to the Suva Hospital.
Police Investigations continue.
Meanwhile, police are looking for three men who allegedly raped a 19yr old woman in Lautoka on Thursday night.
According to Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri the victim accompanied her boyfriend to Golf Link where they had sexual intercourse and it is alleged that two other men came there who raped the 19yr old.
The three later fled the scene and Police are trying to establish the identity of the victim's boyfriend.
Police investigations continue.
