People have been advised not to be complacent about the weather.
These are the sentiments of the Nadi Weather Office as it continues to monitor the Tropical Depression that is slow moving and was located northwest of the Fiji group early this morning.
Senior Forecaster, Robin Taniela said they are keeping a close eye on the Tropical Depression just in case there are any developments.
Taniela adds flooding of low lying areas is likely while there is a strong wind warning in place.
Taniela said people are to expect heavy rain and strong winds going into tomorrow with mariners advised against going out to sea.
