The Public Service Commission has assured the striking members of the Fiji Nursing Association that their jobs are not in jeopardy at this stage.
Speaking to Village news this afternoon Permanent Secretary Taina Tagicakibau confirms the nurses will not be removed as their strike will enters its seventh day tomorrow.
Tagicakibau also revealed to Village news that they are putting together a paper which includes the looming strike by the unions under FICTU and the grievances of the FNA.
FNA General Secretary Kuini Lutua maintains that they will never accept the 1% being offered by government and however they are still willing to negotiate with the Interim Prime Minister on another figure.
