Diet problems and stress in the family is resulting in increased medical claims from clients according to a study carried out by Fijicare Insurance Limited.
Fijicare Managing Director Peter McPherson told Fijivillage that they have seen an increase in local medical claims and the number of people visiting their health center and a survey conducted on clients and patients highlighted increased levels of stress leading to health problems.
McPherson said the increased stress levels amongst clients was mainly due to financial reasons.
These findings were also highlighted by Fijicare at its Stockbrokers briefing this morning.
