The parents and sisters of twelve street boys could not hold their tears as their sons and brothers marched along the Grand Pacific Hotel at their graduation parade.

The boys were given the opportunity by Crime Free Secretariat
to learn carpentry and joinery and the programme which had started in December last year saw the boys building canoes and coffin boxes with prices ranging from $180 to $800.

Meanwhile, Virisila Verevalu sister of 20 year old Ranuku Akeai who graduated yesterday said she is happy that her brother will now be able to make a life for himself.
