In its effort to reduce the number of road accidents on our roads, the Fiji Police Force, Army Officers and Ministry of Health has embarked on a Stray Animal Operation.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said stray animals on the roads have also contributed to road accidents on our roads and so far they have caught 12 animals including bullocks, cows and stallions in Sigatoka.
SSP Mishra has also urged animal owners not to leave their animals untied or loose.
