People in the Suva-Nausori corridor, starting from the Rewa Delta to Togalevu, are requested to store water as water disruptions are expected today.
Water Authority spokesperson Maika Nagalu said they are purifying water at the Waila Treatment Plant and it will take some time.
He has also called on people in the northern division also to store water as disruptions are expected due to Hurricane Tomas.
Meanwhile, people have been warned not to touch water valves and fire hydrants.
