The Water Supply Department has called on people living in the Rewa Delta area to store water if they are still receiving it because there will be a major water disruption anytime.

Water Supply Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said a burst main occurred this morning at Dibulu and it has caused supply disruptions to a number of villages in the lower end of the Rewa Delta.

The areas affected are Naililili, Lomanikoro, Nadoi, Drekena, Nukui, Tavuya, Vutia, Burebasaga and Waivou village.

He said the engineers are fixing this burst main and it is expected to complete after lunch time.

Water supply is expected to normalize again by this evening.
