Residents living along the Tamavua-I-Wai, Delainavesi and Lami areas have been requested to store sufficient water, as there will be a water shutdown tonight.
The water shutdown will start at 10 o'clock tonight and is expected to normalise by 4 o'clock tomorrow morning.
According to the Commissioner of Water Supplies the shutdown is necessary to allow leak detection in Tamavua-I-Wai and all areas between Delainavesi bridge through to Togalevu.
The water department is requesting all customers to shut off any automatic water using systems for this period.
