People living in the Suva/Nausori corridor have been advised to collect water to avoid frustration during Christmas holidays as water cuts still continue in some areas.
Public Utilities spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said there were some blockages in pipe works at the Waimanu Treatment Plant as mud sipped into these pipes causing some households receiving muddy water, low water pressure and water cuts.
She hopes water cuts will normalize by this evening.
Residents in Khalsa road have complained of frequent water cuts, residents of Makoi raised concern on low water pressure and nearby areas have highlighted about muddy water running in their taps.
