The Water Supply Department is calling on people to stop vandalizing fire hydrants as it is the main problem faced by the Department.
Spokesperson Maika Naqalu said many fire hydrants and valves have been tampered with and people who do this do not realize that they are making it harder for the PWD to provide normal water supply to people.
Naqalu is calling on people to report to the PWD if they see people vandalising fire hydrants as it is an offence and people can be prosecuted for it.
