Stop making wild allegations and take concrete evidence to the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority.
Those are the words of Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama following the concerns raised by Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase that an interim minister has been allegedly evading paying taxes over a period of time.
Bainimarama said it would be wise to take that step to ensure that FIRCA investigates the matter.
Laisenia Qarase had earlier told Village News that he has managed to gather evidence in relation to the interim minister owning properties and keeping a large amount of cash in Australia, without declaring them to the FIRCA.
The SDL Leader said they are compiling a number of cases like these involving the interim administration.
