The Water Authority of Fiji has urged members of the public to refrain from dumping items into the sewer systems.
Corporate Communications Officer, Joe Cava said these materials caused blockages and overflow of sewer lines and their sewer system materials are not designed for this.
Cava also said dumping of these items are the reasons why most of the sewer systems are blocked in towns and cities.
