Stop placing the blame on parents if a child is not in school after their final examinations are over.
These are the words of a concerned parent Reverend George Keller who said that while they agree that students should be in school till the last day of each term, it is also important that they are being taught in schools.
His comment comes after Education Minister Filipe Bole earlier stated that all primary and secondary school students should be in school until the last day of each term.
A class 6 student of Navua was found selling roti parcels at the Ministry's Marella House in Suva. When the girl was asked why she was not in school by a Ministry official, she replied that she had completed her examinations.
