The Consumer Council of Fiji has called on the Fiji National Provident Fund to stop not acting like commercial banks and charge fees from its members for services.
Council CEO Premila Kumar questions the benefit to members from the money generated from the fee.
Kumar did not answer when questioned on whether the Consumer Council is happy that the FNPF is ensuring that people have sufficient funds when they retire.
