A Suva lawyer has called on the police force to stop favoritism and treat all citizens same.
Rajendra Chaudhry said police should not put up tents in front of any private residences and should treat each citizen fairly.
He said the Interim Attorney General is a normal citizen of the country and no special preference should be given to him.
Chaudhry also said the increase in the number of robberies and violent activities in the last few weeks is a reflection of the laxity in the leadership within the Fiji Police.
Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni when contacted this afternoon said that he is attending a function in Tavua and will comment this afternoon.
