Ousted Opposition Leader and former NCBBF member Mick Beddoes has called on Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to stop playing the blame game and come out with the truth!
This is after a statement by Sayed-Khaiyum on ABC Pacific Beat blaming media outlets for the delays in the drafting of the People's Charter, allegedly contributing to the postponement of new elections.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Beddoes stressed that media outlets in the country are just doing their job and the interim administration have themselves to blame for the delay in the March 2009 elections.
Meanwhile, Fiji Media Council President Daryl Tarte defended that reports in the media have been balanced.
