A total of three vehicles and twenty number plates that were reported stolen are still missing and police are calling for information on the whereabouts of these vehicles and number plates.
Some vehicles which were stolen in 2007 are still missing. Vehicles that are still missing are a Honda CRV registration EU 129 which was stolen from Pacific Harbour in 2007.
A white Nissan Sunny registration DS 956 which was stolen from Nasoki street Lautoka on 9th of July last year is still missing while a silver Hyundai registration FD 717 stolen from Queen Elizabeth Drive on the 2nd of this month is missing.
Twenty number plates, EK 743, DS 119, LR 1292, EK 222, DM 946, EN 873, FC 498, CJ 331, DT 251, EY 779, CO 853, EG 140, CP 529, EL 515, 4 SHOW, DE 830, CY 449, DE 642, EA 788 And LMSUVA which is the number plate of official vehicle of the Suva Lord Mayor, is still missing.
According to police the stolen vehicles and number plates can be used in major robberies.
