There is still no word on whether police will be ready to charge businessman, Ballu Khan within the next few hours as the 48 hour time period for a suspect to be held without laying charges comes to an end at about 11am today.
Khan's legal counsel, Tevita Fa said he does not know which direction police are taking at the moment.
Ballu Khan has been in police custody in relation to his alleged involvement in the assassination plot against the Interim Prime Minister and others.
Deputy Police Commissioner, Eroni Antonio said they are expected to decide on the charges against Khan, later this morning.
