It has been about six months since the confirmation that FICAC is investigating the Health Ministry however there have been no updates or charges laid.
When questioned by Fijivillage in December, FICAC had said that the investigation was underway.
We checked again today and FICAC says that it will not comment on the matter of any investigations.
FICAC spokesperson Nandni Vandhana says the commission has confirmed investigating the Ministry of Health and will not comment further.
She reiterates that this process is followed to avoid jeopardizing the integrity of the case at hand.
