The Fiji Teachers Union has called on the Interim Finance Minister to stick to his promise that Civil servants will be paid the four percent pay cut for next year’s National budget.
Union's General Secretary, Agni Deo Singh said while the Interim Government has a lot to do in other areas, it should not forget about the educators and the full restoration should be made.
Singh has also stressed that the Interim Government should implement the teaching of Fijian and Hindustani languages in all schools and for this it has to train teachers.
