Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has challenged the Fiji under 18 7s team to step up if they are to stand a chance of winning gold at the Youth Olympic Games later this month.
Ryan said playing the round robin matches will give them a good chance to test their combination before they focus on the medal playoffs.
Although some of the big teams are not playing in the tournament, Ryan said the players will need to work hard for a better outcome.
Meanwhile, six teams that will compete for gold at the upcoming Youth Olympic Games include Fiji, Argentina, Kenya, USA, Japan and France.
The Youth Olympic Games will be held in China from the 17th to the 20th of next month.
