In a twist of the normal walkathon idea, Stella Marist Primary School students, parents and friends held a "Funathon" event aimed at raising funds for upgrading works at the school.
Stella Marist Parents Teacher's Association President Craig Strong said while the initiative is aimed at raising funds the main aim is to have fun while doing so.
Strong said ex-scholars have also jumped on board to help.
The Stella Marist Primary "Funathon" event is aiming to raise $50,000.
