A new champion will be crowned in the Suva Primary Schools Kaji Rugby U-14 competition after defending champion Stella Marist failed to reach the semi-final.

Organiser Osea Tuivakano said the semi-final this afternoon at Furnival Park will be used by team officials as the selection ground for the FMF Chow Kaji finals in August.

Tuivakano added the highlight of the semi-finals will be the boys from Veiuto Primary School as they will feature in all of the grades from the U-9 to the U-14.

The semi-finals will kick-off at 1pm today with the U-14 competition starting at 2pm where Veiuto Primary School will take on Marist Primary and Suva Primary School faces Draiba Fijian School.
