Police have now completed taking statements of the members of the disciplined forces who were allegedly caught on camera beating up two recaptured prisoners earlier this year.
Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu confirms that the Criminal Investigation Department is now looking at further steps to be taken in relation to the brutality video that went viral on the internet from March this year.
ACP Tudravu said some of their officers were allegedly involved in the case.
The CID is now looking at witnesses and evidence.
ACP Tudravu is now awaiting feedback from the Director CID before deciding on charges.
