The ousted Leader of Opposition believes that the appointees of the Constituency Boundaries Commission should not sit back and wait for a directive to complete their work before March 2009.
According to Mick Beddoes, when one is appointed to chair an organization, it is assumed that the person has the ability to perform well.
He further adds that the Boundaries Commission should have started their work rather than waiting for a directive as everyone knows that Fiji needs to have elections by March 2009.
He also adds the commission should finish their job before the election begins.
His comments come after the chairman of the Constituency Boundaries Commission confirmed that they have not been given any deadline to complete their work before March 2009 when elections are scheduled to be held.
Suresh Chandra said no directive has been given to them to complete their task.
